The international computer sports festival “Real Caspian Cup” will be conducted in Astrakhan for the first time from September 1 to 9 as part of the upcoming VI Caspian Media Forum, the official website of the Ministry of External Relations of the Astrakhan Region reports.
It is noted that the participants of the festival will become the cyber sportsman from Turkmenistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, as well as Belarus and Uzbekistan. The national team of the Astrakhan region will also enter the game, as the host of the event.
The competitions will be held in the Dota 2 discipline. AT the first stage, the teams will be divided into groups and will play of the tickets to the ½ final. For the victory in every match will be given 3 points, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a defeat. The teams that showed the best results at the end of the group stage will compete for the festival cup.
The course of the tournament will be covered on the online platforms, which will be announced later.
The final meeting will be held on September 9. Participants and guests of the Caspian Media Forum will be able to follow the course of this duel in a live broadcast from the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theater.

This is one of the rare sports that allows people to compete on equal terms being in Astrakhan, Ashgabat, Baku, Minsk and other parts of the world at the same time.
