Today, as part of the two-day visit of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Iran, the government delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of business meetings with its Iranian counterparts in Teheran.
As the electronic publication “Turkmenistan” reports, the meeting of the Turkmen delegation members with the heads of relevant ministries and institutes of Iran became an important step on the way of deepening and diversification of the mutually beneficial relations. During the talks, cooperation in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, fuel and energy, transport, as well as in the field of education, culture and sports were discussed.
As per the source, talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi will be held in Teheran on June 15, following which a package of bilateral documents will be signed.
