According to the results of the annual competition held by the National Trade Union Center and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, named an exemplary school director of the country.
The head of the Ashgabat specialized secondary school № 16 Suray Mammedova, who was awarded the diploma of the honorary title of Iň göreldeli mekdep müdiri (“Exemplary School Director”) and valuable gifts. The publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports about this.
After graduating her studies at the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University in 2001, she worked for a long time as a teacher at secondary school № 5 in Dashoguz.
For twenty years of professional activity, she also had a chance to work in Cheleken, Turkmenbashi, Turkmenabat. She has been working at Ashgabat school № 16 since 2010.
Her energy, initiative, communication and professional skills did not go unnoticed, and soon she was nominated for the position of the school’s deputy principal for academic work, and then entrusted with the position of head.
During work as a director, Suray Mammedova contributed to the improvement of methods of teaching academic disciplines, improvement of working conditions for teachers. She successfully copes with the burden of numerous public duties, while being a caring mother of four children, notes the source.
