In the first quarter of the present year the commodity turnover of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation increased for 45% and is equal to 171.1 million USD, RT with the reference to the statement of Vladimir Putin made during the talks with Serdar Berdimuhamedov reports.
It is noted that for January – March 2022 the Russian export increased by 49.3% (to 124 million USD), and import from Turkmenistan - by 35% (to 47.1 million USD).
Russia imports from Turkmenistan textiles and footwear, foodstuffs, chemical industry products and rubber.
In turn, machinery, equipment and vehicles, food products and agricultural raw materials, chemical industry products, metals and products made from them are among the main directions of the Russian export to Turkmenistan.
