Auction house Heritage Auctions put up for auction the American flag that was on board the manned comic spacecraft Apollo-11 during the lunar expedition. The flag, which measures 19,5 x 29 centimeters, is made of silk. It also has an inscription made by astronaut Michael Collins.
The originality of the flag and the inscription: “Delivered to the moon on Apollo-11 July 1969/Michael Collins”, confirmed by a certificate. The Apollo-11 moon flag was sold for 162 500 USD, reports elitethings.com.
