President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived today to the Russian Federation with an official visit, The State News Agency reports.
At the Moscow International Airport “Vnukovo-2” where on the occasion of arrival of the honored guest the State flags of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation were raised on flagpoles and an Honor guard was lined up, the officials met President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The official welcoming ceremony of the honored guest took place here. The commander of the Honor Guard solemnly reports. The national anthems of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation are performed.
A government delegation from Turkmenistan, which arrived in Moscow a day earlier, also attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was completed by a solemn procession of soldiers of the Guard of Honor.
From the airport, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov went to the residence assigned to him during the visit.
During the visit, the head of Turkmenistan will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
During the talks, it is planned to discuss the entire range of issues of further development of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as topical regional and international topics. It is expected that a Declaration on deepening the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Russia will be signed at the meeting.
