An online training on the topic "Protection of intellectual property rights" was held for employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
According to the Service's website, the training, organized by the international company Schmitt & Orlov Intellectual Property, included presentations on the facts of identifying counterfeit products, their specific differences from the original products, as well as on the practices of protecting the intellectual rights of copyright holders using examples of specific trademarks.
The participants were provided with information about the registered trademarks of the copyright companies-holders, interests of which are represented by Schmitt & Orlov Intellectual Property.
Also, the speakers of the training told of the distinguishing features of the original products of copyright holders from counterfeit products.
