Foreign citizens and stateless persons planning to fly to Russia on regular flights from Ashgabat to Kazan are required to issue visas to enter Russia if there are appropriate grounds in accordance with the established procedure.
The relevant information was published in the Telegram channel of the Consular Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan.
Let’s remind that flights to Kazan will be operated from Ashgabat on Wednesdays at 14:55 (Ashgabat time).
Persons flying to Kazan on June 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2022, will be able to apply for a visa if there is a reason without prior appointment. Only urgent visas will be issued to these persons.
The cost of an ordinary single—entry visa, according to the tariff of fees for consular actions — 80 USD, urgent - 160 USD (issued in 1-3 working days).
Besides the necessary documents, a purchased ticket for a “Turkmenistan” Airline flight on the above-mentioned dates should be provided for admission to the Consular Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
The Consular Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation does not organize these flights. Passengers coordinate their departure with the Turkmen competent authorities and purchase air tickets on their own, the source notes.
