The total amount of transactions on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 13 million 576 thousand US dollars in a week.
A total of 54 transactions were registered at the auction.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the Great Britain purchased gasoline produced in the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex. A liquefied gas (SC “Turkmengas”) became a subject of transactions for the businessmen from the UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan. Representatives of the business circles of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan also desulphurated diesel fraction (SС “Turkmenhimiya”).
In addition, terry products in the assortment, cotton yarn, which were purchased by entrepreneurs from Russia and the UAE, were sold for foreign currency. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 13 million 576 thousand US dollars.
For the manat means cotton yarn and handmade carpets were sold. Buyer countries: Russia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan. The total amount of transactions amounted to about 800 thousand manats.
For the domestic market local entrepreneurs bought technical sulfur (SC “Turkmengas”), high-density polyethylene (SC “Turkmenhimiya”) and handmade carpets for the total amount of transactions exceeded 654 million 499 thhousand manats.
A week ago, the amount of currency transactions on the Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 26.7 million US dollars.
