An exhibition of innovative projects was held in Ashgabat at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution and the Day of the State Flag of Turkmenistan.
As reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the exposition presented more than 20 innovative projects of students and young teachers of the Council of Young Scientists of the university.
Among the projects, for instance, is a “smart greenhouse” – a project of 3rd year students of the Faculty of Radio Communication Technologies Dayanch Yazlakov and Sapargeldy Rejepov. The automated greenhouse has the functions of controlling and regulating temperature and humidity, dimming, measuring soil moisture, watering and heating. The system permits to set up a separate mode for each plant.
The elements of “smart home” controls were developed by a group of young scientists led by Dovrangeldy Suhanov and Begench Annayev. No special tools are required for their installation in the house. Innovative sockets and switches can be installed instead of conventional ones, after which they are independently connected to a smartphone via a mobile app. The developers plan to expand the range and create sensors for water leakage, gas leakage, smoke, temperature and humidity, and other smart elements for the home.
There are developments for teaching children among the projects. These are, for instance, a robot-teacher for learning the alphabet (author – 1st year student of the Faculty of Information Systems Security Ahmet Shihliyev) and software for teaching typing on the keyboard (author – 3rd year student Abdyrahman Jumayev).
Within the framework of the event also included a quiz with the participation of students.
