Today Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks with the Head of the St. Petersburg Foreign Relations Committee Evgeny Grigoryev, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a representative Russian delegation on a working visit, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The meeting was also attended by Igor Bukato, Head of the Vozrozhdenie Group of Design and Construction Companies, and Alexander Blokhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan.
The parties noted the high level of Turkmen-Russian trade and economic ties, including the participation of Russian companies in the implementation of a number of projects in Turkmenistan. Developing cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian area was also discussed.
