President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI of Malaysia Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al Musta'in Billah on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the State News Agency reports today.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that "Turkmenistan is aimed at further development of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Malaysia," noting that the relations between the states based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust have been dynamically developing and systematically improving over 30 years.
At the same time, the head of state expressed confidence that thanks to the joint efforts, Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation will continue developing for the benefit of our peoples.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan expressed sincere wishes of good health, happiness and well-being to Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI of Malaysia Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al Musta'in Billah, and progress and prosperity to the people of Malaysia.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia were established on May 17, 1992.
