President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to Governor-General of the Australian Union David John Hurley on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television has reported today.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that "Turkmenistan is interested in expanding relations with Australia." At the same time, the head of state expressed confidence that thanks to the joint efforts, the cooperation of the countries, the relations between which are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, will continue developing in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov sincerely wished John Hurley good health, happiness and well–being, and prosperity and progress to the people of Australia.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Australian Union were established on May 14, 1992.
