Turkmen short film “Everything is possible” became the winner of the international film festival

The picture “Everything is possible” won the Best Short Film of the Months award at the Tagore International Film Festival (TIFF) in India. The tape was also awarded a special jury award – Outstanding Achievement Award.

The film “Everything is possible” was directed by Myrat Mollayev. The operator/editor of the tape is Mergen Gurbanlyev. Music – Kuvvat Gylyjov. Voice-over – Kadyr Atabayev. Cast: Myrat Mollayev, Rahat Alovov.

Let us note that this picture has also received recognition at the regional level. At the International Short Film Festival “Shot in 48 hours” in Almaty it was awarded the second place in 2021.

The film takes in 1972 in Turkmenistan. The script of the film is based on the story of a shepherd and his son who got lost in the endless desert, where there are absolutely no signs of life nearby.

Out of breath in search of their camels, they exhausted by thirst, continue their journey along the quick sands of the Karakum. The whole story is driven by a journey to the ultimate goal and the expectation of a better ending, which inspires viewers to never give up.

Myrat Mollayev is better known in Turkmenistan as Myrat Molla - a blogger, artist, creator of short humorous videos. Recently, he has established himself as a director. His works participate in international film festival held in different countries of the world.

According to the Turkmen director, the film “Everything is possible” was qualified for the Sun of the East Award. The winners will be announced at the annual TIFF gala-concert, where the organizers of the event will wait with great respect for all the heroes of the film “Everything is possible”.
