Math lover 64 years old bartender Jonathan Ruby from the US city of Raleigh, North Carolina, won 578,8 USD thousand in the lottery. A man bought a lottery ticket for 1 USD entered the sequence with which Pi begins: 3, 14, 15, 31 and 41.

As it turned out, it was these numbers that helped the bartender become the happy owner of the prize. As Jonathan Ruby himself noted: “I saw this number all the time, so karma told me to use it”.

After paying all taxes, the winning amounted to 137 thousand USD, for which the winner plans to pay bills, and save the remaining money for retirement, reports the publication lenta.ru.
