The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, passed away on Friday May 13, 2022 at the age of 73. The Ministry of Presidential Affairs reported about this. A 40-day national mourning has been declared in the country, during which state flags will be flown at half-mast. The ministry also announced that al ministries, departments, and federal, local, and private organizations will be suspended for three days.
