On June 23, Ashgabat will host the International Scientific Conference: “Reducing environmental emissions during hydrocarbon developments and prospects of managing the Darvaza gas crater”.
The Forum will bring together leading experts, researchers and energy professionals to share experiences and research results on all aspects of reducing environmental emissions and green energy technologies.
During the Conference, the participants will review possible solutions for the Darvaza gas crater, international experience and initiatives, existing areas of technical support and new environmental/climate finance opportunities available to the energy sector of Turkmenistan, and other issues.
Innovative technologies and know-how in the production of hydrocarbons and reduction of associated gas emissions, energy projects of the new era will also be discussed.
The organizers are the State Concerns "Turkmennebit" and "Turkmengaz" in partnership with the Turkmen Forum with the support of the British company GaffneyCline.
It is expected that the Conference will be attended by the leaders of the energy industry of Turkmenistan, representatives of state institutions of the country and leading international organizations, as well as major international financial institutions.
