President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree permitting legal entities to mine crypto currencies using electricity generated by solar power plants.
In accordance with the new decree, all operations with virtual currency of domestic and foreign companies were exempted from income tax.
As informs 3dnews, the company must be registered with the National Agency for Advanced Projects of Uzbekistan in order to carry out mining operations, which regulates the circulation of crypto currencies. In cases of using the power grid for crypto currency mining, it will be necessary to pay a double tariff.
Also it is noted that all operations for the purchase, sale and exchange of crypto assets by legal entities and individuals appear only through individual service providers from January 1, 2023.
