In the second match of the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, the Spanish “Real Madrid” defeated the English “Manchester City”. The meeting at the “Santiago Bernabeu” stadium in Madrid ended with the score 3:1.
“The Royal Club” reached the final of the tournament, where they will meet with “Liverpool”.
The Algerian midfielder of the “citizens” Riyad Mahrez opened the score in the 73rd minute. “Real Madrid” striker Rodrigo scored a return goal in the 90th minute, two minutes later the Brazilian again brought the “Galacticos” forward and transferred the game to extra time.
In the first extra time, Karim Benzema earned and converted a penalty, bringing victory to his team on aggregate – 6:5.
The Champions League final will be held on May 28 at the “Stade de France” in France.
