Recently the festival of English connoisseurs “Research and know English” (“Study and know English”) was held in secondary school № 3 of the city of Turkmenabat.
As informs Jeyhun.news, teams of 11-grades from twelve specialized language schools in Lebap velayat participated in the event.
In the first round the participants made a presentation of the teams. In the second round, the teams were given the task of compiling a story from certain words, after which it was necessary to stage a sketch based on the invented story.
Then was a task to review one of the favorite works of Turkmen literature in English language.
With the course of the festival, the task for the guys became more complicated. So, in one of the tasks it was necessary to translate a certain poem from English into Turkmen, come up with a melody for the words and sing a song.
As a results of the competition, the team of secondary school № 41 scored the highest number of points, which won the first place.
The second place went to the secondary school № 21 and the third place went to the secondary school team.
The main education department of the Lebap velayat organized the festival.
