Apple has announced its intention to remove applications from the App Store that are not updated for a long time and are practically not downloaded to user devices, reports 3dnews. In accordance with the company’s announcement:
“Within the framework of the App Store improvement process, app developers who have not been updated in the last three years and do not meet the minimum download threshold – meaning the app did not download at all or very infrequently over a 12-month period – received an email notifying them that, then their app has been identified for possible removal from the App Store”.
Earlier, developers whose apps have not been updated for a long time received a notification to update their products within 30 days. If this recommendation is not followed, outdated apps will be removed from the App Store.
