Issues related to the implementation of tasks arising from the program of social and economic development and the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns, were discussed today during the working meeting held by the President of Turkmenistan via digital communication, the information program “Vatan” of the state television reports.
After hearing the reports of the heads of local administrations and vice-premier for agriculture Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions on improving the culture of agriculture associated with soil and climatic conditions. The Head of State stressed the need for detail care of wheat crops and its fertilization to obtain a generous harvest, its vegetation irrigation.
For the purpose of execution of cotton sowing at a high level and complete it in agrotechnical terms, it is important to use agricultural machinery and aggregates at full capacity, provide dayhan with high-quality seeds, and execute constant monitoring of row-to-row processing in accordance with established norms.
“It is necessary to strengthen the pace of cotton sowing and carry it out on schedule,” the President of Turkmenistan said, continuing that we should not forget about the fight against agricultural pests, and to do this, accelerate the production of bioproducts at specialized enterprises.
At the same time, the Head of State instructed to keep under strict control the work executed in order to grow high yields of potatoes and vegetable products, to take care of these crops in accordance with agrotechnical standards.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also issued directions on preparation for the cocoon production season, concluding contracts with silk worm breeders and creating conditions for their productive work.
The head of Turkmenistan demanded to execute permanent control of the construction of industrial, cultural and social facilities, housing, roads and water treatment facilities in the regions in accordance with the National Rural Program and the Program of Socio-economic Development of the country for 2019-2025.
Then the participants of the working meeting warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on awarding the city of Ashgabat an International Certificate for assistance and contribution to the initiative of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe “Trees in Cities”, wishing good health, longevity and great success in his activities.
Expressing sincere gratitude for the congratulations, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that the presentation of the Certificate is a great honor for our country, especially for its capital – Ashgabat. The Head of State noted that ensuring ecological well-being, environmental protection, respect for nature and conservation of biodiversity are priorities of the state policy of our country.
“These issues will remain pending in future, that is why it is necessary to ensure control on the implementation of all adopted programs in this area”, - Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined.
