Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony that took place at the Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse today. This is reported by the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan”.
Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the Halk Maslahaty and Mejlis of Milli Gengesh, military and law enforcement agencies, hakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, heads of ministries and branch departments, public organizations, mass media, as well as notable horse breeders participated in the celebration.
Within the framework of the activity, the best Ahalteke horses were donated to the President of Turkmenistan on behalf of the country's horse breeders as a sign of appreciation for the active attention to their work, as well as in honor of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse.
Horses from each velayat and capital of the country are taking out one by one to the site. One more Ahalteke horse was handed over on behalf of the military and law enforcement institutes.
Then the final of the International Beauty Contest among Ahalteke horses took place.
As it was already reported, the winner on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan was awarded the keys to a Lexus car, as well as a rolling Cup and diploma.
