The International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding has been replenished with new members. At the XII meeting held today in Ashgabat Amanzhol Hasenov, the director of the "Center for National Equestrian Sports" of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Datsin Hiyyou Liu Shutsin, the president of the Academy of Ahalteke Horse Breeding of the Chinese Horse Breeding Association, the head of the horse breeding company were accepted into this organization.
The corresponding decision of the Board of the International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding was approved by its President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signing the Resolution. The document is adopted “in the aim of successful implementation of the tasks, standing before the International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding, further promotion of world fame of Ahalteke Horse and develop the art of horse breeding, as well as extend cooperation of horse breeders around the world, increase the number of members of the Association, improve activities, study and put into practice best practices in the horse breeding industry,” the information program “Vatan” Turkmen television.
The representative of Kazakhstan Amanzhol Hasenov, addressing President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, stressed that he received with great joy the news of his admission to the International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding.
As the speaker said, rich culture, traditions and history of the Turkmen folk are of the utmost interest to him. Emphasizing that he has been paying attention to the issues of horse breeding in Kazakhstan, the representative of neighboring country also assured that together with the members of the Association would promote further development of this organization.
Welcoming the President of Turkmenistan, the representative of the People's Republic of China Liu Shutsin pointed that it was a great honor for him to learn that the International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding responded to his request for membership in this association.
“Ahalteke horses are an ancient breed of horses that are highly valued all over the world, conquering with their beauty and grace. In China, interest in “heavenly” horses is growing rapidly,” Liu Shutsin said, assuring that horse breeders will make every effort to increase the number of purebred “paradise” horses and their wide popularization.
The International Association of Ahalteke Horse Breeding with headquarters in Ashgabat was established in 2010. It unites specialists, hippologists, and other connoisseurs of “winged” horses from all over the world.
As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov told at the meeting of the Association, today this international structure includes 188 members from Turkmenistan and more than thirty countries of the world, thanks to whose activities the number of Ahalteke horses is increasing annually, the number of their connoisseurs is growing.
