President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to Governor-General of Canada Mary Simon on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the information program “Vatan” of Turkmen television reported today.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that “Turkmenistan is interested in extension of relations with Canada”. Along with this, the head of state expressed confidence that the cooperation of two states, whose relations are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples due to the joint efforts.
Taking the advantage of this opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov sincerely wished Mary Simon good health, happiness and prosperity, also, welfare and progress to the people of Canada.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Canada were established on the 17th of April 1992.
