President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a congratulatory message to President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al–Assad on the occasion of the state holiday - Independence Day.
As the information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television reported today, having warmly and cordially congratulated the head of the friendly country, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere wishes of good health, happiness and well–being to him, and peace, progress and prosperity to the people of Syria.
Today Syria marks the 76th anniversary of independence since the evacuation of the last soldier of the French colonial troops from its land.
