“Ashgabat City Telephone Network” CJSC has completed the construction phase of the GPON network in the 11th micro-district of Ashgabat. More than 5 thousand subscribers were connected to GPON technology.
GPON technology gives an opportunity to connect simultaneously several digital services over a single fiber optic line, conducted directly to the subscriber’s home. This ensures the quality, stability and high speed of the connection without increasing energy costs.
As informs the official website of the AGTS, it is possible to simultaneously use several types of telecom services: unlimited internet access (both wired and Wi-Fi), IPTV digital television and telephone communications.
The installation of ONT optical terminals in subscribers’ apartments is carried out free of charge, at the expense of AGTS’ own funds.
The company is continuously working to expand the capacity of the new generation network.
