The Brazilian authorities have introduced the forbid to the import, sale and distribution of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs, produced in Belgium.
As informs mir24, the corresponding decision was made by the local agency for sanitary supervision after cases of Salmonella infection in Europe, associated with the use of this type of product were detected.
As noted in the agency’s release: “Despite the fact that Brazil is not among the countries, to which these products were supplied, the agency decided, as a precaution, to take preventive measures to inform the public and avoid the use of these products”.
Besides that, the agency required the manufacturer to provide information on the control of imports of chocolate eggs into Brazil by third parties.
