The confectionery sector is widely represented at the UIET-2022 exhibition in Ashgabat

The sector of confectionery and bakery products is widely represented at the exhibition opened today on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the formation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The country’s entrepreneurs every year increase production capacity and expand their product line, delighting customers with delicious new products.

So, at this exhibition such Turkmen companies as Hasar, Altyn Ýunus, Bars, Oguzhan, Owram, Okgun, ES Hojaly, Kilwan, Misgär, Tawus, Gülaýym, Seýrek, Derek, Dat meni, Tomus, Kindi, Rahat lukum Talhan and others present their goods.

The quality of Turkmen confectionery, bakery products and sweets has been time-tested and appreciated by local consumers.

Today many of the companies participating in the exhibition are proudly demonstrating their new product. So, for instance, at the stand of the “Bars” enterprise it was possible to try new products: lemon and coconut muffins, chocolates Sapa, Kepderi, Koko Bars duo, coconut bar.

The actively developing confectionery segment of the Turkmenistan food industry not only saturates the domestic market with competitive products, but also provides additional jobs.

For instance, ES Hojaly produces more than 60 types of confectionery products, various types of cookies to date (long, sugar, with cream fillings, jam, covered with chocolate, caramel, marshmallows). The production employs about 100 people.

More than 40 types of products: biscuits, waffles, chocolate, dragee and others are produced in five production workshops of the Mary enterprise “Okgun”.

The products of Turkmen confectioners are also loved by consumers abroad, so many entrepreneurs of the country have already begun gradually targeting their goods for export.
