The Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Sergei Dubina said, that the Ministry of Transport plans to take additional permits for cargo transportation with a number of countries, about this informs the Belarusian telegraph agency.
“Now we are actively developing cooperation with Eastern countries. Exchanges of additional permits for cargo transportation between Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan are being worked out. Also, the work on an agreement with China to allow travel to the mainland of the PRC is underway”, said Sergei Dubina.
He added, that the direction of international transportation is actively developing.
“The share of international transportation in the total volume of cargo transportation in Belarus is 76%”, - specified the Deputy Minister.
It should be noted, that the trade between Turkmenistan and Belarus amounted to 20,8 million USD in 2021. The basis of Belarusian Foreign Ministry, has been the supply of sugar, tires, insulated wires, medicines, ethyl alcohol, and dairy products. The main positions of Belarusian imports are bed linen and kitchen linen, dishes, household items made of plastic, packaging bags and packs made of textile materials, non-woven materials, textile clothing.
