Taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, Kazakhstan lifted restrictions on crossing the state border of Kazakhstan by air from April 11.
As informs the Tengrinews.kz website, restrictions for citizens of Kazakhstan, stateless persons and foreigners crossing the state border at land checkpoints with Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have been lifted.
This decision was made at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Prevention and Spread of Coronavirus Infection in Kazakhstan.
At the same time the requirement for the mandatory presentation of a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19 by the PCR method or a document/passport confirming the completion of a full course of vaccination, revaccination against
COVID-19 for citizens of Kazakhstan and foreigners with a residence permit in the country, and foreign citizens remains with mutual recognition of vaccination passports.
Akimats were instructed to take special control over the vaccination campaign against coronavirus infection and conduct high-quality explanatory work among the population, notes the source.
