The Turkmenistan national futsal team defeated the Tashkent club “Bunyodkor” with a score 6:1, which plays in the Futsal Super League of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was held the day before in the sports complex of Tashkent, reports the official website of the FFT.
Maksat Amanov, Gurbangeldy Sahedov (2 goals), Allamyrat Kurbanov, Gylychmyrat Gylychmyradov and Kadyr Berenov scored goals.
The Turkmenistan national team continues to prepare for the matches of the qualifying tournament of the 2022 Asian Cup. The national team will play a friendly match with Uzbekistan on April 5 in Tashkent.
Turkmen futsal players fly from the capital of Uzbekistan to Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on April 7, where qualifying competitions will be held from 10 to 12 April.
In accordance with the draw held at the headquarters of the AFC, the Turkmenistan national team was in group “A” in the combined Central and Southern zone of the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2022. The rivals of the Turkmen team will be the teams of Iran, Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Maldives. Also, in group “B” in Bishkek will play: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Nepal.
The first match of the Turkmenistan national team will play on April 10 with the hosts of the site – rivals from Kyrgyzstan. The next day will play with 12-time Asian champion Iran. And will finish the qualifying tournament with a game with Maldives team on April 12.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the finals.
The final tournament of the Asian Cup-2022, in which 16 strongest futsal national teams of the confederation will perform, will be held in Kuwait from September 25 to October 20.
