The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan on its official website reports, that now applicants, when applying for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) in Russia, must provide a notarized consent to the processing of personal data without fail.
This innovation is introduced in connection with the requirements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan dated from March 29, 2017 № 519-V “On information about personal life and its protection”.
A certified consent to the processing of personal data will be sent to the Turkmen competent authorities to obtain information about the presence/absence of a criminal record of the applicant.
