Expert meeting of the representatives of “Turkmen railways” Agency and the Ministry of land resources, infrastructure and transport of the Republic of Korea and Korean Railway Corporation (KORAIL) started on the 28th of March and will last until 1st of April.
Yesterday, the president of the Korean Railway Corporation, Na Hee Seung, also the head of the Ministry of land resources, infrastructure and transport of the Republic of Korea, Cho Yongmin, came out with video appeal.
The Turkmen side noted the initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan aimed at connecting the main transport corridors linking the South-North and East-West routes. Moreover, it was pointed out that the construction of railway corridors such as Kazakhstan - Turkmenistan - Iran, Serkhetabat - Turgundi, Kerki – Imamnazar - Akina, Turkmenistan – Afghanistan - Tajikistan, along with the construction of high-speed highways, airports and seaports, is an example of the important role of these projects in impactfull strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and other countries of the region, It is reported on the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea.
