Uzbekistan agreed with Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia on providing discounts for the transit of goods. About this reported the edition Podrogno.uz with a reference to Aziz Voitov, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“We were able to agree and reduce costs in the Caspian Sea. Also, there is an agreement on reducing transport costs by 50% with the ports of Turkmenbashi and Baku”, said Voitov.
According to an Uzbek official, delivers of goods from the ports of Azerbaijan and Georgia are already cheaper by 30%.
