The development of the railway freight transportation from the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region and China to Europe through Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the countries of the Caucasus was discussed at a meeting in Tashkent. As part of the dialogues among the heads of the railway administrations, agreements were reached on organizing uninterrupted transportation of goods and a tariff corridor along the international route Asia-Pacific - China - Central Asia - the Caucasus - Europe.
A working group was established to further accelerate the launch of the multimodal corridor and resolve all issues related to the organization of traffic along the route.
It is noted that the next meeting to promote the project will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
