The winner of the presidential elections in Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council held today, declared, that he would do his best to prove the high confidence of the people.
“I will use all my strength, abilities, knowledge and experience to prove the high trust placed in me by the people,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said on state television, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all compatriots, who took an active part in the elections and cast their votes for him.
The new elected President of the country declared, that the course of development formed over the 30-year period of the sacred independence of the Motherland would be continued, and the ongoing transformations in the political, economic, socio-cultural spheres, would be carried out in the future, measures would be taken to successfully implement Programs, aimed at ensuring a high level of life of the native people.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted, that work will be carried out aimed at ensuring peace and security of independent and neutral Turkmenistan, promoting the triumph of peace and mutual understanding on the planet, and also the prosperity of the Motherland and ensuring a prosperous and happy life for the people.
