The presence of voters at the extraordinary elections of the President of Turkmenistan was 71,90% by 13:00 o’clock, reports the press-service of the CEC of Turkmenistan.
“71,90% of voters voted in the presidential elections in Turkmenistan by 13:00 o’clock”, says the report.
As the CEC specified, 63,19% of voters voted at the abroad polling stations.
Let us remind you, that nine candidates are claiming to the highest state position, including Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who holds the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Voting started at 07:00 and will last till 19:00. There are 2577 polling stations in the country and 41 outside. In total, more than 3,4 million voters are registered.
