A video conference, dedicated to the tourism potential of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat. The forum was organized within the framework of the World Expo 2020, reports the official website of “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The online platform united representatives of the leisure industry, businessmen, top managers of leading travel companies and experts in this field.
The historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, were introduced to the participants from Dubai during the videoconference.
It was noted, that a great interest of travelers rouses the ancient Merv, Nisa, Kunya-Urgench, and also the Karakum expanses and the beauty of Koytendag.
Also, the prospects for the development of a tourism cluster on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea was considered at the forum, and the attractiveness of Ashgabat was discussed separately.
