The information on conduction of the presidential elections will be transmitted live on the national television and radio. It was reported to the head of state by the Vice – Premier Mahrijemal Mammedova during conjoint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministries and the State National Council, reports the information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television.
The President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave to the Vice-Premier specific instructions on the wide coverage of the election day on the tele radio channels and in other mass media resources.
Besides, the head of state instructed to use all mass media resources, including the Internet, for regular provision of the data on preparation to the upcoming elections of the President of Turkmenistan on the 12th of March, also for appealing to the fellow citizens to actively participate in it.
It should be noted that foreign mass media are interested in covering the presidential elections of Turkmenistan and obtaining reliable information about them. Including the partners of the Turkmen media - the Interstate TV and Radio Company “Mir”, the TV channel “Russia 24”, the Asia-Pacific TV and radio channels, etc.
