On the 12th of March, the day of the election of the President of Turkmenistan, at polling stations the performances of popular singers, bahshy musiciants and creative collectives are planned. It was reported to the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by the Vice – Premier Mahrijemal Mammedova during conjoint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministries and the State National Council held today.
Having instructed to organize musical and song performances in accordance with the national traditions at all polling stations on election day, the head of state noted the importance of these events in familiarizing international observers with the national cultural heritage.
“The day of election of the President of Turkmenistan should become a tremendous holiday!”, Berdimuhamedov highlighted.
