Two rare Bengal tiger kittens have been born at the Bangladesh National Zoo in Dhaka. The addition to the Bengal tiger family was almost four months ago, but in order to contain the influx of visitors to the zoo during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, their birth was announced only now.

According to mir24, the leadership of the National Zoo of Bangladesh plans to present the kittens to the public only when they start eating meat. By this time, the cubs will be five to six months old.

The Bengal tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh. This feline population lives in Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India.
