President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a letter to LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, in which he said that he had received the news of his illness and hospitalization with deep regret, the Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television informed today.
In the letter, Berdimuhamedov noted that Zhirinovsky, thanks to his unique spirit and dedication, is widely known in the world as an outstanding politician.
"I firmly believe that these traits will help you overcome the disease in a short time," reads the message of the Head of Turkmenistan.
In his letter, the Turkmen leader also stressed that Vladimir Zhirinovsky was awarded the title of Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, and that they have a long-standing friendship.
In conclusion, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the Turkmen people, conveyed wishes for a speedy recovery to the LDPR leader.
On Wednesday, Russian media reported on Zhirinovsky's hospitalization at the Сentral Сlinical Hospital in Moscow due to infection with the Omicron strain.
