The tender for the purchase of the largest gem-quality rough diamond weighing 1086,10 carats is being held by the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE). The gem was mined in southern Africa. The tender for the purchase of the largest diamond will take place on the eve of the Dubai Diamond Conference, scheduled for February 21.
