Great hopes are for the industrial development of the Uzynada Field, which is located in the Esenguly District of the Balkan Region, since, according to preliminary data, it contains about 5 million tons of oil, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

In September last year, during drilling of Well No. 14 with the design depth of 6860 meters, plentiful industrial inflow of gas was obtained.
Currently, Well No. 7 with deep payout beds is drilled in the Eastern part of the Field.

Oil and gas are strategic raw materials for the further development of the export potential of the country’s fuel and energy complex, and an important role is assigned to the promising Uzynada Field, the source notes.
