At a working meeting via the digital system held today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov heard reports from the Heads of the Regions on preparation for the upcoming Extraordinary Meeting of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh (National Council of the People’s Council) of Turkmenistan to be held February 11, in which delegates from the Regions of the country will participate online.
Among the priorities, the Head of State identified holding of a nationwide Forum at high organizational level and gave appropriate instructions in this regard, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.
The Turkmen leader focused on the importance of solving the tasks of ensuring food abundance in the country, as well as unflagging attention to the effective use of scientifically based approaches in the development of the agricultural sector, the introduction of the advanced digital technologies into the agricultural and industrial complex, and the rational use of water resources.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that tasks in this area should become a priority in the Program Document on the Social and Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052, which is planned to be adopted at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.
