President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry reports.
Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan and China are the most sincere and reliable friends and partners. Thanks to the joint efforts of the two countries, cooperation has made significant progress in recent years, especially in the field of oil and gas.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan is ready to work with China on increasing the volume of natural gas supplies through the construction of the 4th line of the pipe - Central Asia-China.
Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping noted that for over 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, the partnership between the two countries achieved significant success, stressing that cooperation in the field of natural gas effectively contributes to the economic and social development of the two countries and has broad prospects.
