One of the few surviving prototypes of Intel's Larrabee discrete graphics accelerator was bought by an unknown collector on French eBay for €4,650. According to the seller of the video card, this is the only surviving working copy. The fact that the model is really working is confirmed by the image of the boot window for its BIOS. However, there is no driver for it. Judging by the presented photos, the video card is an engineering sample intended exclusively for internal use.

Larrabee was an experiment by Intel in the mid-2000s to create hybrid graphics accelerators for computing (GPGPUs). But since its graphic performance against the background of competitive solutions was noticeably lower, in 2009 the project was shelved, informs 3dnews.ru.
