Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed the implementation of the National Rural Program, the construction of highways, social and cultural facilities and improving the social standard of living of the population at a working meeting held via the digital system.
According to the Information Program "Vatan" of the Turkmen Television, the head of state strongly criticized the work underway in these areas.
In particular, the Turkmen leader noted a significant slowdown of road construction. In this regard, the report of the Prosecutor General Batyr Atdayev was heard, who informed of the results of the on-the-spot inspections made. It was reported that road equipment is not used at full capacity, not enough spare parts and this negatively affects the maintenance of roads and their construction.
Noting the inadmissibility of such business organization, the head of state instructed to continue the prosecutor's inspection.
The President referred specific instructions to the relevant heads. In particular, Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov was instructed to make proposals, jointly the economic bloc, to intensify the pace and improve the construction of highways.
Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov should inspect the construction of social and cultural facilities as well as the provision of the population with clean drinking water, electricity, and natural gas in the country.
The heads of administration of the regions and the city of Ashgabat were referred the complaints of the labor slowdown and deterioration in quality of road construction; and instructions were given to organize work in full compliance with the demands of time and the shaped plans in these areas.
Separate instructions were given on the construction of social and cultural facilities – schools and preschool institutions, healthcare institutions and cultural centers, sports and other facilities. The necessity of using advanced experience, the latest technologies and digital systems in the construction of these facilities is emphasized.
The President of the country instructed to keep ensuring social protection of the population under strong control.
The Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the regions and the capital were instructed to tighten control over the ongoing work in these areas.
