A new mine well 12 meters deep was built in the Yslam oý locality in the etrap named after S.A. Niyazov of Dashoguz velayat, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The new well has replenished the network of watering structures in the distant pastures of velayat. Its resources will make it possible to provide a watering hole for the herd in large areas, as well as to more efficiently use the remote land plots in the desert area intended for grazing livestock.
One of the main factors for the effective use of pastures, including for reducing the cost of livestock products, is the presence of a developed network of mine wells, differing in the depth of occurrence of aquifers and daily carrying capacity.
They serve as the main source of drinking water for livestock. Successive irrigation of pastures is carried out in strict observance of environmental standards and requirements of rational nature management.
